Obv: A bust in profile to right. I. H. TOOKE ESQR. Below. Around the perimeter TRIED FOR HIGH TREASON. I. H. TOOKE ESQR. In small letters; the 4 of the date under the second limb of E of TOOKE.  

Rev: An inscription NOT GUILTY SAY THE JURY. EQUAL JUDGES OF LAW AND FACT. COUNSEL HON. T. ERSKINE V. GIBBS ESQR. The foot of the Y of GUILTY to the top of the first limb of the R in JURY.

A curious specimen. Struck from lightly rusted dies; the reverse over a partial brockage of the obverse, and with a partial flan clip. Otherwise near choice uncirculated with a bit of faded color remaining.
