obv Shield of arms of the City of Norwich; 1792 arranged around the perimeter of the shield. Emblazoned shield; no tuft on the middle of the lion's tail; the 2 of the date on a line with the lower loop-hole.; rev A man working in a loom. The spokes on the wheel roatated; the top spoke at 1:00. The loop forms a fairly regular curve.; edge IOHN HARVEY OF NORWICH . X X X X

Gem uncirculated with substantial original color. 

John Harvey, (1755-1842) master weaver, philanthropist, and banker, later the Mayor of Norwich and commanding officer of the Norwich Volunteer Cavalry.
