Eames, Holland, & Andrews, Copper Halfpenny, 1793. Obv A man on horseback facing left. PETERSFIELD above. The point of the sword at a level with the top of the hat. Rev A stork standing, facing right. Around the perimeter PROMISSORY HALFPENNY . 1793 .  The lower edge of the ground forms a smooth line. Sharply struck, near gem uncirculated, toned and with a substantial original color remaining. Scarce.

Joseph Eames (1750-1802), grocer and tallow chandler; George Holland (1747-1824) grocer; Richard Andrews (1740-1816), attorney. The formation of this partnership, and the production of their tokens, may have been to promote the development of the Petersfield Mounted Dragoons.
