Dunham & Yallop, Copper Halfpenny, 1793 Obv A shield of arms of the city of Norwich upon a sword and mace, between crossed palm branches. Around the perimeter SUCCESS TO THE CITY OF NORWICH. Flat shield; tie at branches; the hilt of the sword points to the first limb of the O of OF; the top of the mace to the second limb of H of THE Rev An eagle with wings extended. Struck from a later state of the reverse die. Gem, lustrous uncirculated, with a bit of faded color remaining. Attractive.

Dunham & Yallop, Robert Dunham (1761-1823) and  John Yallop (later, Sir John Yallop, 1762-1835) were partners in the goldsmiths shop.
